Red, white and black ink bleeds… lines and masses move on the surface, flowing over and through the bumps and crevices of fibrous handmade paper. This paper has evolved from a previous life; from pulp, a new paper is born. The structural and sculptural, sometimes collaged, surface is a birth and renewal of what was once from the earth. The main pulp comes from newspaper which, with its many lives before, is usually unintended to be broken down further. The text and color from the newspaper influences the linear drawing. This drawing further emphasizes the movement towards creation and the evolution of earth-like elements.
